Vendors Are Now Third Parties

The seller is now a third party in API, CLI, webhooks, and console – a reputation that fits better with compliance terminology.

Vendors Are Now Third Parties

ZebraBytea renamed the third-party provider concept everywhere.

This is a radical change on the entire surface ofAPI.

What changed

  • GraphQLandMCP: all fields and types ___ZBT_I18N_RUNTIME_BLOCK_158__ renamed to third_party*
  • Webhook events: vendor:* Events are now third_party:*
  • CLI: prb vendor The command group has been renamed to prb third-party
  • Console and Trust page URLs updated accordingly
  • Database snapshot type: VENDORS → THIRD_PARTIES

Why it matters

Reputation best reflects what the feature aims at: any third-party service your organization uses, not just traditional providers.

What must you do

If you have automations, scripts, or integrations that use ZebraByteAPIor CLI:

  • Update webhook listeners from vendor:* to third_party:*
  • Update prb vendor calls to prb third-party
  • Updating any hardcodateGraphQL queries or MCP tool calls to reference provider fields
  • Update any saved URLs that include paths ___ZBT_I18N_RUNTIME_BLOCK_170__

The existing data is migrated automatically. No manual data migration is required.
